Integration von Handyman in Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Use MS Dynamics AX as usual to create work-orders / projects.
  • Scheduling can be done by launching the Handyman Resource Planner with a single mouse-click from MS Dynamics AX with the selected order in focus.
  • Whenever the technician synchronizes automatically he receives the new orders from MS Dynamics AX and sends updates of the orders he’s working on back.
  • All registrations made by the PDA-user can be accepted manually in MS Dynamics AX.
  • When the registrations are accepted in the order control they will update the Project journals in MS Dynamics AX. (Item, hour and expense.)
  • Handyman standard-reports (e.g. order summary to be sent to a customer once the order is completed) can be viewed and printed in MS Dynamics AX with a single mouse-click.
  • With simple configuration the depth of the integration can be defined: It is sufficient to define in the settings-menu of the Add-In whether basic data for customers, materials, salary-codes, employees and stores shall be exchanged or not. To prevent sending unnecessary information to the PDA, it is possible to define that only selected elements (e.g. customers, materials) shall be sent to Handyman.
  • Requires MS Dynamics AX 4.0 or higher. Older versions can be integrated upon request.
